A question?
Answers to the situations our users actually run into.
Does Fanga sell channels?
No. Fanga IPTV is a player: it plays the subscription you have with your provider. It does not include, sell or broadcast any channel.
I can’t see all my channels.
Open Settings › Application › Catalogue languages and choose “The provider’s whole catalogue”. It is the default since version 0.3.55.
My subscription doesn’t work.
Read the message shown: it says what is happening. “Expired”: renew with your provider. “The provider refuses (code …)”: the subscription is recognised but the provider blocks playback; only they can say why. “Invalid address”: check the server address.
Android adds an “s” to the address.
When copying an address, some phones turn http:// into https://. If your provider gave you an http:// address, keep it as it is.
“Already in use on another device”.
Many subscriptions accept only one connection at a time. Fully close the other player (or the other TV), wait a minute, then reopen Fanga.
I’m changing TVs.
The licence can be moved to a new TV, up to 3 times per calendar year. Use your FANGA account or your reseller.
I forgot the parental control code.
Your reseller can give you a recovery code.
Is the trial really free?
Yes: every TV uses the player for 7 days without paying. The trial covers the player, not channels.
